Monamhee is Daegu's first natural wine bottle shop dedicated to a wise wine lifestyle. CEO Choi Hyun-jung opened the shop in 2021 with the goal of lowering the barrier to entry for natural wine and creating a space where anyone can comfortably experience it. By selling carefully selected wines alongside cheese meal kits and groceries made with seasonal ingredients, the shop eliminates the hassle of having to purchase wine and snacks separately. Furthermore, the shop is experimenting with various methods, such as handcrafting wine glasses and chilling bags, to ensure that everything needed for a wine-loving lifestyle can be found within the space of Monamhee. "Jam & Jam ," a handmade jam made from seasonal fruits and vegetables, is one of the popular products with a high repurchase rate. The lineup consists of "Purple Onion Jam," a pink-hued jam made by simmering purple onions and vinegar in wine; "Pear Mint Jam," which offers the sweetness of pears and the refreshing coolness of mint; and "Raspberry Jam," featuring a sweet and sour taste and aroma. Monamhee plans to introduce a new jam line made with seasonal ingredients every season. Among its diverse product range, the signature items symbolizing Monamhee are undoubtedly the 'Blipingi' and 'Bread' doll keyrings. CEO Choi Hyun-jung recalled the timeless rule that "cute is best" during a period when people were feeling physically and mentally withdrawn due to COVID-19, and began creating cute and quirky doll keyrings to provide small comfort to people. 'Blipingi,' with a black body and a pink nose, and 'Bread,' with a brown body and a red nose, gained popularity through word of mouth, becoming fashion items sought after by many celebrities and establishing themselves as the mainstays of "open runs" (cradle-out crowds). In May, the brand plans to unveil new keyrings created in collaboration with the café 'Camel Coffee ' and the limited-edition trading platform 'KREAM . ' Monamhee dreams of becoming a lifestyle shop that naturally blends into consumers' daily lives, going beyond simply being a space for selling groceries. I plan to continue making challenges that are uniquely Monamhee so that it will not feel unfamiliar even if I make doll keychains at a place that sells natural wine.
