Just like the concise and catchy slogan, 'Good Dish, Good Place!', your eyes and palate will be delighted throughout your stay at Holland. Centered around an orange shelving unit designed with the dining room of the iconic Dutch architectural masterpiece, the Sonneveld House, every piece of vintage furniture and tableware placed throughout the space bears the personal touch of CEO Kim Min-jae. This is precisely why the subtitle 'Holland Museum' fits so perfectly. CEO Kim, who presents a stylish space and food, moved to Seoul from Gumi at the age of twenty and worked in clothing sales while juggling various jobs in cafes and restaurant kitchens. These experiences served as a crucial indicator for him to realize what truly defined him. Having found what he loved, he returned to Daegu to turn it into a brand. Thus, following his first brand, 'Platz Coffee,' he opened his second location, 'Holland.' Here, he presents menus he personally developed using fresh, high-quality ingredients selected from nearby markets and supermarkets. Signature dishes include the 'Potato Sandwich,' featuring a potato pancake patty served with a spicy sauce on grilled bread; the 'Mushroom Pesto Pasta,' a harmonious blend of truffle oil and minced beef in pesto made from sautéed and ground button and shiitake mushrooms; and the 'Chicken Neck Oil Pasta,' made with chicken neck meat and chicken broth. Beyond its unique space and food, Holland hosts interesting projects from time to time. During its first summer after opening, it hosted a 'Garden Party' in the front yard offering free drinks and food, and around Christmas, it opened the 'Orange Christmas' pop-up kitchen in collaboration with 'EERT,' where guests could enjoy Holland's brunch menu alongside Platz Coffee's financiers.
