Moss Hour established itself in Namsacheon-dong, Cheongju, with the hope that the "hours" spent there would flow meaningfully, much like the " moss " that slowly and quietly fills the space . It is run by two sisters from Cheongju who are two years apart in age; the older sister personally researches and perfects Moss Hour's unique desserts to present a diverse menu, while also tending to the flowerbeds and plants outside to add the vitality of nature. The younger sister oversees the atmosphere, menu planning, and design, creating the cafe's distinctive and stylish character. In particular, the fresh flowers, carefully selected and arranged every week, breathe fluid life into the space and welcome guests with a warmth that feels different each time. The joy of visiting Moss Hour lies in its unique dessert menu, such as the Banoffee, which harmonizes fragrant bananas with sweet caramel. They pursue a harmony of sweetness that pairs well with fruit—such as orange and pistachios, cherries and chocolate, mango and coconut, or bananas and caramel—while never forgetting the balance between freshness and richness. Here, Milestone Coffee's Hanabi beans are medium-roasted for a light and smooth flavor. It is a warm and bright space when the sun shines in, and lowers its lighting to capture the cozy warmth of the night when the sun sets. Thanks to this, it serves as a comfortable sanctuary where work, contemplation, and conversation all feel natural.
